Teenage forward Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 10th minute, finishing calmly after a precise assist from Mikel Oyarzabal, setting the tone for a one-sided encounter dominated by La Roja.

Saudi Arabia briefly struggled to cope with Spain’s relentless attacking movement, and the pressure soon told when Oyarzabal doubled the lead in the 21st minute, converting from close range after a set-piece situation involving Aymeric Laporte.

Just three minutes later, Oyarzabal struck again to make it 3-0, finishing off a fluid attacking move involving Dani Olmo and effectively putting the game beyond reach before half-time.

Saudi Arabia, led in attack by Salem Al-Dawsari, attempted to respond after the break but found little success against a disciplined Spanish defence marshalled by goalkeeper Unai Simón.

The fourth goal arrived in the 49th minute when Saudi defender Hassan Tambakti inadvertently turned the ball into his own net under sustained pressure, compounding an already difficult evening for the Asian side.

Spain coach Luis de la Fuente used the comfortable lead to rotate his squad, introducing fresh energy including Ferran Torres and Nico Williams, as Spain maintained control of possession and tempo.

Saudi Arabia created limited chances through Al-Dawsari and Abdullah Al Hamdan, but Spain remained largely untroubled and continued to manage the game with composure and authority.

Spain briefly thought they had added a fifth goal in stoppage time through Ferran Torres, but the effort was ruled out after a Video Assistant Referee review confirmed an offside infringement in the build-up.
