Signed during the Mobility-CNG Stakeholders Workshop in Abuja, the agreement outlines the development of a 6MMSCFD Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) plant and a 40MMSCFD Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility in Ajaokuta, Kogi State.

This strategic partnership, led by NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML), reflects a strong commitment to expanding Nigeria’s gas infrastructure through innovative, private-sector-driven solutions.

The initiative aims to provide Virtual Pipeline Solutions, enabling reliable gas delivery to off-grid and underserved areas.

The workshop, themed Deepening Industry Alignment for a Sustainable Mobility-CNG Sub-Sector,” gathered industry leaders and regulators to explore opportunities under the Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGI).

Launched in 2023, PCNGI supports Nigeria’s shift to cleaner, affordable energy for transportation.
