Romano disclosed that both goalkeepers have been given the green light to undergo medical examinations ahead of finalising their moves.

“GKs exits at Man United today as Bayindir joins Celta Vigo… and Radek Vitek joins Middlesbrough on permanent deal,” Romano wrote on X.

According to Romano, Middlesbrough will pay an initial £7 million for Vítek, with performance-related add-ons potentially taking the deal to £14 million.

Manchester United have also negotiated a 35 per cent sell-on clause and a buy-back option, allowing the club to retain a degree of control over the Czech goalkeeper’s future development.
