Although Deeney praised Mikel Arteta’s side for “answering every question” in both domestic and European competitions, he argued that Bayern Munich and PSG are stronger opponents over two legs.

“I think they can do more and can be fantastic but do I think they beat PSG? No. Do I think in a two-legged game they beat Bayern Munich? No,” Deeney said on CBS Sports. He noted that despite Arsenal defeating Bayern in the group stage, the challenge over two legs remains significant.
