VeryDarkMan Apology follows a viral in-flight clash with Mr Jollof that delayed a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba to Lagos

According to a video posted on Tuesday, a VeryDarkMan Apology has been issued after the social media figure acknowledged responsibility for an in-flight altercation with comedian Mr Jollof that disrupted a United Nigeria Airlines service.

The confrontation, which occurred on a flight from Asaba to Lagos, was captured by passengers who filmed both men exchanging physical blows as travellers attempted to intervene.

The disturbance caused delays and generated widespread discussion online, with many criticising the behaviour of the two public figures.

In his video statement, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, admitted that his conduct was unnecessary and regrettable. He said he fully recognised the inconvenience caused to passengers who had important engagements that morning.

He noted that travellers may have missed medical appointments or business commitments because of what he described as a lapse in judgment.

He added that, despite the online frenzy that followed, he was disappointed in his behaviour and stressed that he acted irresponsibly.

The VeryDarkMan Apology included a firm assurance that such an incident would not be repeated in public. He acknowledged the need to conduct himself better, especially given the growing scrutiny around his public engagements.
