Transcorp Hotels Q3 results show 49% revenue growth to ₦72.3bn and 36% rise in pre-tax profit. Leadership hails innovation, operational excellence

Transcorp Hotels Q3 results released yesterday show a strong performance, with the hospitality group recording double-digit growth across revenue, gross profit, and pre-tax earnings.

According to key extracts of its unaudited financials for the nine-month period ended 30 September 2025, released at the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), group revenue rose by 49 per cent to ₦72.31 billion, up from ₦48.49 billion in Q3 2024.

The company’s gross profit jumped from ₦34.33 billion to ₦55.06 billion, while profit before tax grew by 36 per cent, rising from ₦16.44 billion to ₦22.4 billion.

After-tax profit stood at ₦14.82 billion, up from ₦10.24 billion year-on-year.

Earnings per share (EPS) increased to ₦1.45, compared with ₦1 in the same period last year.

Chairman of Transcorp Hotels Plc, Emmanuel Nnorom, attributed the strong results to a blend of cost efficiency, operational discipline, and customer-centred innovation.

“This impressive third quarter performance underscores our time-tested strategy focused on cost discipline, operational efficiency, and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do,” Nnorom said.

He added that Transcorp Hotels remains committed to unlocking long-term value for shareholders through sustainable growth.

Managing Director, Uzo Oshogwe, praised the company’s continued leadership in Nigeria’s hospitality industry, citing the performance as a testament to its strategic execution and innovation.

“Our Q3 2025 results reflect our unwavering drive for excellence and our commitment to redefining hospitality in Africa,” she said.

She highlighted the recent commissioning of a*5,000-seat event centre, positioning Nigeria as a viable destination for international conferences and events.
