The former Germany international delivered the remarks while speaking to reporters, as quoted by Bavarian Football Network, where he reflected on the challenge awaiting Bayern Munich after their 2-1 first-leg victory over the LaLiga champions.

Müller acknowledged that Real Madrid may not be at their dominant best this season but insisted that their quality remains dangerous and unpredictable.

He noted that Álvaro Arbeloa’s side still possess a squad filled with top-level individual talent capable of changing the course of a match at any moment.

According to Müller, complacency would be costly for Bayern Munich, warning that Real Madrid “can always hurt you” if given space or time to settle into the game.

Despite his caution, Müller expressed confidence in Bayern Munich’s current form, suggesting that the team has enjoyed a strong season and is mentally prepared to take the next step in the competition.

He added that the squad’s momentum could play a decisive role in what is expected to be a highly competitive encounter under the floodlights in Munich.
