Super Falcons Camp Build-Up continues as eleven players report in Ikenne ahead of international friendlies against Senegal

The Nigeria Women’s National Football Team, the Super Falcons, have begun an encouraging camp assembly at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State, as eleven players reported for duty ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against Senegal.

The initial group includes Joy Omewa, Oluwatosin Demehin, Toni Payne, Blessing Illivieda, Folashade Ijamilusi, Anderline Mgbechi, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene and Omorinsola Babajide, who joined early arrivals Shukurat Oladipo, Kafayat Shittu and Asisat Oshoala in camp.

The Super Falcons Camp Build-Up has gathered early momentum as the squad gradually comes together, with twelve additional players still expected to arrive ahead of the scheduled fixtures.

The team is set to hold its first official training session later on Tuesday evening, marking the beginning of structured preparations under the coaching staff.

The friendlies against Senegal are scheduled to take place at the same venue, the Remo Stars Sports Complex, with the first match billed for Friday and the second encounter set for Monday next week.

Team officials are optimistic that the early arrivals will help establish cohesion and intensity in training sessions as preparations continue.
