Super Falcons Allowances paid in full as President Tinubu approves N12B for backlogs. Includes coaches’ salaries, bonuses, and female team entitlements

Super Falcons Allowances have been fully approved and disbursed by President Bola Tinubu, bringing long-awaited relief to Nigeria’s national sports teams.

In a statement shared via the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Center, it was confirmed that the President sanctioned the release of ₦12 billion to clear outstanding payments.

This covers match bonuses, allowances, and unpaid salaries for up to 15 months for both male and female national teams, including the Super Falcons, Super Eagles, and the Under-20 squads.

The Super Falcons Allowances payment comes as a morale boost ahead of their decisive 2024 WAFCON final against Morocco.

Players, coaches, and officials are set to receive their entitlements without further delay—marking a new era of accountability and respect for national athletes.

National Sports Commission Chairman, Shehu Dikko, confirmed that payments up to July 26 have already been disbursed. He emphasized this will now be standard practice timely payment without drama.
