Habib said the command received 36 cheques valued at exactly ₦12,136,940.60 from the Insurance Unit of the Department of Finance and Administration, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

“This gesture demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the Inspector-General of Police to the welfare of our personnel and their families, even after death,” the commissioner said.

He added that the police leadership would continue to prioritise the prompt settlement of entitlements to support bereaved families and encourage serving officers to perform their duties with dedication and courage.
