Paul Onuachu has scored 20 goals in 22 Turkish Super Lig games for Trabzonspor and needs six more to break the club’s single-season scoring record

Paul Onuachu is on course to become Trabzonspor’s all-time top scorer in a single season in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Nigeria international has already netted 20 goals in 22 league appearances this term, placing him within striking distance of the club record.

The current record is held by former Georgia international Shota Arveladze, who scored 25 goals in the 1995/1996 season. Norway international Alexander Sorloth is second on the list with 24 goals.

Onuachu will claim Trabzonspor’s single-season scoring crown if he scores six more goals before the end of the campaign, further cementing his status as one of the club’s most prolific strikers.
