Across all competitions, the 31-year-old striker scored 12 goals during the run, bringing his season tally to 23 goals and two assists in 26 appearances.

Onuachu remains the leading scorer in the Super Lig with 21 goals, five clear of Eldor Shomurodov of Istanbul Basaksehir.

Although the streak has ended, he is within reach of another milestone, needing five more league goals to surpass Shota Arveladze’s club record of 25 goals in a single season, set during the 1995/96 campaign.
