Party Chairman Adamu Ninga, speaking in Lafia on Tuesday, condemned the defection of Abdullahi Ibrahim-Sa’ad, the lawmaker for Ugya/Umaisha State Constituency, who switched to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“There’s no crisis in our party to justify defection,” Ninga stressed. “Defectors will not only lose their seats but also face the wrath of the electorate.”

Ninga criticized Ibrahim-Sa’ad’s move, stating that the party had not received official notification of his resignation and emphasizing that internal communication channels had not been followed.
