Despite Galatasaray agreeing to pay the full amount, Napoli are unhappy with the proposed payment structure. The Turkish champions have offered €40 million upfront, with €35 million to follow in instalments — a deal Napoli have already rejected.

Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto noted that Napoli insist the final €35 million must be paid in full before the end of 2026.

Additionally, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reported that Napoli want a hefty 20 per cent of any future transfer fee involving the Nigerian striker.

Osimhen, who scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances last season on loan at Galatasaray, remains one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards. However, his future remains unresolved as negotiations stall over financial details.

The situation has escalated to the point where Osimhen submitted a medical certificate to excuse himself from Napoli’s pre-season training.
