Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde names the new PDP state secretariat after former chairman Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha, emphasizing party unity and progress

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde announced that the newly unveiled Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat will be named after former state chairman Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha.

The declaration came during the unveiling ceremony in Ibadan, the state capital.

Makinde highlighted that the PDP has overcome internal disruption, referring to individuals previously labeled as “vagabonds” who were expelled to restore party unity.

He instructed that Mustapha’s name be permanently inscribed on the building and confirmed that the property would be placed under the care of the party’s Board of Trustees.

The governor emphasized that the PDP is now fully united, marking a significant step in consolidating its presence in Oyo State.
