Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martínez has named Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane as the best striker in the world at the moment, placing the England captain ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in his ranking of elite forwards.

Lautaro Martinez Harry Kane best striker remarks were made during an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, where the Argentine international explained his reasoning based on Kane’s overall all-round attacking play.

Martínez praised Kane’s ball control, link-up ability and game intelligence, stating that the Bayern Munich striker offers more than just goals and remains a complete attacking threat.

According to him, Harry Kane also stands out for his aerial ability and reading of the game, describing the England captain as a “phenomenon” in world football.

Kane has enjoyed a prolific season for Bayern Munich, scoring 58 goals across all competitions and playing a key role in the club’s Bundesliga title success under manager Vincent Kompany.
