Lagos cult clashes leave at least four dead and several injured across multiple communities, as police confirm ongoing investigations

At least four persons are feared dead following a series of cult-related clashes across Lagos State.

The incidents reportedly occurred in communities including Iyana-Ipaja and Aboru in Alimosho Local Government Area, Badore and Olokonla in Ajah, Eti-Osa, and Onipanu near Fadeyi and Satellite Town.

In Badore, a man identified as Chidera was reportedly killed on Friday during an altercation involving suspected members of the Eiye confraternity and a rival group.

Meanwhile, videos circulating on social media from Iyana-Ipaja and Aboru showed at least three individuals with severe head and shoulder injuries.

In Onipanu, a man identified as Israel was shot dead, with the suspected assailants allegedly filming the attack.

At Satellite Town, police confirmed a suspected murder following the discovery of a man’s body at NEPA Junction last Wednesday.

Another victim, identified only as Alabama, was reportedly found dead on Monday morning at Baba Adisa Bus Stop, Ibeju-Lekki.

Lagos State Police Command spokesperson Mrs Abimbola Adebisi confirmed the Satellite Town killing but noted that investigations into the other reported incidents are ongoing.
