Inter Milan are reportedly eyeing a move for Maduka Okoye, with Udinese valuing the Super Eagles goalkeeper at €20m

Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, with his current club, Udinese, said to value the 26-year-old at €20m.

According to PUNCH Sports Extra, citing Italian media reports, the Serie A giants are assessing their goalkeeping options and have identified Okoye as a potential target.

The Nigerian international has established himself in Italian football since joining Udinese, with his performances reportedly attracting the attention of one of the country’s most prominent clubs.

A potential transfer to Inter would represent a significant step in Okoye’s career, offering him the prospect of competing for a place at one of Italy’s leading sides.

However, Udinese’s reported asking price could prove a major factor in any negotiations, as Inter consider whether to pursue their interest.

No formal offer has been reported, and it remains unclear whether the Milan-based club would be willing to meet the €20m valuation.

The transfer speculation follows a difficult outing for Okoye in Udinese’s 2-1 defeat to Torino on Monday, a result that the report described as the club’s fourth consecutive Serie A loss.

The goalkeeper was involved in the decisive moment in the 67th minute when he collided with teammate Nicolò Bertola while attempting to clear the ball.

The incident allowed Torino substitute Sandro Kulenović to score into an unguarded net, handing the visitors a crucial advantage.

The mistake added to the disappointment of Udinese’s defeat, although the reported interest from Inter suggests Okoye remains on the radar of a major Italian club.

While reports have linked Okoye with a possible move to Inter, the transfer remains speculative.

Udinese’s reported €20m valuation could determine whether the interest progresses into formal negotiations, with no confirmed bid or agreement announced.
