GITEX GLOBAL 2025 kicks off in Dubai as the world’s largest technology and artificial intelligence event, gathering over 6,800 enterprises and 2,000 startups from 180 countries.

Running from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, it promises to be a powerhouse for AI innovation and tech breakthroughs.

Major global players such as Alibaba Cloud, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Oracle and many others are set to showcase cutting-edge advancements.

The event also highlights transformative sectors including biotech, quantum computing, data centres and robotics, all converging to address humanity’s most urgent challenges.

Dubai World Trade Centre’s Executive Vice President Trixie LohMirmand described GITEX GLOBAL 2025 as a catalyst for “innovation-led progress across industries and global economies.”

Alongside the main exhibition, the Expand North Star startup showcase opened at Dubai Harbour, featuring 2,000 startups and over 1,200 investors managing assets worth $1.1 trillion.

This year marks record international participation, with new country partners from Brazil, Serbia, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Spain and Türkiye broadening the event’s global reach.

Business leaders and policymakers are using this platform to forge cross-border partnerships and unveil investment announcements aimed at accelerating digital transformation over the next decade.
