Galatasaray insist Victor Osimhen is not for sale despite reported transfer interest from Arsenal and Al-Hilal this summer

Galatasaray have made their position clear on Victor Osimhen, insisting the Nigerian striker is not available for transfer despite reported interest from Arsenal and Al-Hilal.

The Turkish champions reportedly delivered the message as speculation surrounding the 27-year-old forward continues during the summer transfer window.

Osimhen has attracted attention from Arsenal, while Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal have also reportedly entered the race for his signature as they consider changes to their attacking options.

Reports have suggested that Al-Hilal could look to move on former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, potentially creating room for a major move for Osimhen.

Arsenal have also reportedly made enquiries about the Nigerian international, with discussions involving the Premier League club and Galatasaray said to have taken place.

However, Galatasaray are understood to have no intention of allowing their leading striker to leave.

According to a report by Erdem Açıkgöz, cited by Habersarikirmizi, the club’s management delivered a firm response to the growing transfer speculation.

“Our stance is clear; no matter what, we are not selling Osimhen,” the report quoted the Galatasaray management as saying.

The stance represents a significant obstacle for any club hoping to secure the striker this summer, particularly given his importance to the Turkish side.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli last year after his initial spell at the club and quickly established himself as a key figure in their attack.

The Nigerian helped Galatasaray secure the Turkish Super Lig title for a second consecutive season, further strengthening his importance to the club.

With Arsenal and Al-Hilal reportedly monitoring the situation, Osimhen’s future is likely to remain a major talking point as the transfer window progresses.
