Fierce Anthony Joshua warning surfaces as he vows to dominate Jake Paul in their December bout in Miami

Joshua, heavily favoured by bookmakers at over minus one thousand, said he intends to dominate every second of the eight round Netflix bout. Speaking with a steely calm, he vowed to impose himself early and dismantle Paul with what he described as a punishing approach.

He said he plans to come forward, apply relentless pressure and land heavy punches while introducing Paul to a level of boxing experience he has not yet encountered.

Joshua stressed that his aim is to bring Paul into what he called another school of boxing, one built on timing, accuracy and ruthless execution.

Despite the fiery declarations, Joshua acknowledged Paul’s commitment and preparation. He noted the American’s focus, work ethic and strong support team, insisting that he is taking the contest seriously.

He said Paul possesses a conqueror’s mindset, something he respects, even as he prepares to challenge it.

Joshua enters the fight with a record of twenty eight wins and four losses, including twenty five knockouts.

However, he has been inconsistent in recent years, going six and four since 2019 and suffering a damaging fifth round stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.

Paul arrives with twelve wins, one loss and seven knockouts, adding intrigue to the clash.

Looking ahead, Joshua is expected to return to the ring in February and, if successful against Paul, could secure a major autumn bout against Tyson Fury.

He said the Miami contest offers a powerful opportunity to re assert himself as a dominant presence in the sport.
