Dugarry Makes Strong Claim About Lamine Yamal’s Ego criticism came during an interview with RMC Sport, where the French pundit reacted to Barcelona’s midweek exit from the competition in a result that has intensified scrutiny on the club’s young attacking core.

Dugarry questioned Yamal’s overall influence in the tie, suggesting that early promise in the match was not matched by sustained impact as Barcelona failed to progress.

He acknowledged the winger’s early goal in the fourth minute but argued that the performance lacked consistency and decisive contribution thereafter.

“If you’re going to talk a lot, make sure your team is capable of winning,” Dugarry said, adding that more experienced attackers would have made greater use of the same opportunities.

He further claimed that Yamal is “far from being one of the best in the world” and expressed doubt that Barcelona deserved to advance, given what he described as a below-par collective performance.
