Deeone shares video of Verydarkman that’s now sparking online controversy, as the clip appears to contradict the activist’s previous statements about Afrobeats superstar Davido.

In the resurfaced footage, Verydarkman (VDM) can be heard saying, “See the sweet room wey Davido book for me,” directly suggesting that Davido did, in fact, pay for his hotel accommodation.

This came after VDM recently insisted he had never collected “a dime” from Davido, claiming that his entire visit to Lagos—including lodging—was self-funded.

Reacting to the contradiction, comedian Deeone posted the old video and questioned the activist’s credibility, asking followers if someone who lies can truly claim integrity.
