Asisat Oshoala scores a hat-trick as Al Hilal Women defeat Al Qadsiah 5-1 to reach the Saudi Women’s Cup final with a 7-2 aggregate win

Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala delivered a stunning performance on Thursday night, scoring a hat-trick to lead Al Hilal Women to a dominant 5-1 victory over Al Qadsiah Women and secure a place in the Saudi Women’s Cup final.

The emphatic win completed a 7-2 aggregate triumph, with Al Hilal Women overpowering their opponents away from home in a high-intensity semi-final second leg.

Oshoala, widely regarded as one of Africa’s finest forwards, opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a powerful right-footed strike from outside the box after a clever setup from Kheira Hamraoui.

Just two minutes later, Al Hilal doubled their lead through Jéssica Silva, who finished a swift counter-attack to further stretch the advantage.

Although Al Qadsiah Women pulled one back through Ajara Nchout in the 42nd minute, the momentum remained firmly with the visitors as Oshoala struck again before half-time to restore the two-goal cushion.

The Nigerian completed her hat-trick in the 73rd minute, calmly finishing from inside the area after another precise assist from Al Bandari Mobarak, capping a clinical attacking display.

She remained influential deep into the contest and was later fouled in the box, winning a late penalty that was converted by Ghizlane Chebbak to seal the comprehensive win.

The Asisat Oshoala hat-trick Al Hilal performance continues a remarkable run of form for the striker, who has now scored 23 goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season.

She has also found the net in four consecutive matches and contributed in each of her last six appearances, maintaining the high-impact output that defined her career in Europe.

Asisat Oshoala joined Al Hilal Women in 2025 on a two-year deal from Bay FC in the United States, and has quickly become a central figure in the club’s attacking force.

Al Hilal will now face either Al Ula Women or Al Nassr Women in the final as they continue their pursuit of silverware this season, having earlier finished runners-up in the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup.
