The agreement, which will keep Arteta at the Emirates Stadium until 2030, represents a significant reward for the manager after he guided Arsenal to the Premier League title and ended the club’s 22-year wait for the league crown.

Arteta’s new deal is understood to be bonus-related, meaning his earnings could rise substantially depending on Arsenal’s performances and achievements.

According to the UK Mirror, the structure of the agreement could push Arteta’s annual earnings towards the £20 million mark, placing him comfortably above other managers in the English top flight.

Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner is reportedly among the next-highest earners, taking home around £14 million after bonuses and other additions.

The financial terms underline the confidence Arsenal have placed in Arteta after several years of rebuilding under his leadership.

Since taking charge of the Gunners, Arteta has overseen a transformation in the club’s fortunes and gradually turned Arsenal into a consistent force at the top end of English football.

His title triumph finally delivered the major domestic prize that had eluded Arsenal for more than two decades, making the new contract a powerful statement of the club’s faith in his long-term vision.

The 44-year-old is also the longest-serving manager currently in the English top flight, having remained in charge through Arsenal’s rebuilding period and subsequent return to the summit.

With his future secured until 2030 and his earnings now reflecting his standing among the Premier League’s elite managers, Arteta will have the opportunity to build further on Arsenal’s recent success.
