Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi reportedly lost valuables worth about £500,000 after a burglary at his residence.

The Alex Iwobi robbery incident allegedly involved armed attackers who held the footballer at knifepoint while carrying out the operation.

The assailants were said to have stolen luxury wristwatches, jewellery, two iPhones and a MacBook laptop.

Reports also indicated that Iwobi had approximately £200,000 in cash at the time, which was taken during the robbery.

Authorities have since launched an investigation into the incident, although no arrests have been confirmed.

The development comes shortly after Iwobi featured for Fulham in their 3–1 victory over Burnley in the Premier League last weekend.
