The midfielder registered one assist in 24 league appearances during his time with the Tuscan side.

Pisa had initially prepared to activate the €7.5 million purchase option included in his agreement, but the deal reportedly broke down during the exchange of final transfer documents.

The collapse now sends Akinsamiro back to Inter Milan, where he remains under contract, with the Italian champions expected to reassess his role ahead of the new season.
