AFCON Morocco 2025 visa policy grants free eVisas through the YALLA app, easing travel and stadium access for fans ahead of the tournament

AFCON Morocco 2025 visa rules have been eased as the Confederation of African Football and the Local Organising Committee announced that fans travelling for the tournament will receive free electronic visas.

The move marks a powerful step toward improving accessibility for supporters ahead of Africa’s premier football event.

CAF confirmed that the free eVisa, obtainable through the YALLA app, will apply to citizens of countries that usually require a visa to enter Morocco.

The competition runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, and global demand continues to rise as more fans secure their match tickets.

According to CAF, every supporter will need two key documents to stay in Morocco and enter match venues: a Fan ID and an eVisa.

The introduction of a unified digital process positions Morocco as one of the slickest organisers in recent AFCON history, ensuring a seamless experience for both international visitors and local supporters.

CAF explained that the Fan ID remains mandatory for entry into all stadiums and official fan zones.

Both the Fan ID and the free eVisa can be applied for directly inside the YALLA app, offering faster verification and enhanced security.

Fans can obtain approvals by downloading the YALLA app from Google Play or the App Store, completing the Fan ID form, and submitting an eVisa request where required.

Upon approval, supporters may then buy match tickets through the official CAF ticketing platform.

CAF added that the measures aim to strengthen safety and convenience as Morocco prepares to host its first AFCON since 1988.

The 2025 edition will take place across nine stadiums in six host cities, with 24 national teams ready to compete for continental glory and showcase Africa’s emerging football stars.
