The intervention came after a social media user criticised the production and questioned Adekola’s multiple roles in the project.

The user had faulted the film’s execution, writing that acting as producer, lead character, singer and director weakened the project’s quality.

The comment sparked heated reactions online and prompted Adebayo to issue a response.

Adebayo said respectful engagement mattered, stressing that filmmaking is not a one-man operation but a collaborative effort involving directors, writers, crew and actors.

He warned against making hurtful remarks from behind a keyboard without understanding the work invested in a production.

In his post, Adebayo explained that every contributor brings expertise to the project and added that criticism should be fair, measured and rooted in genuine assessment rather than personal attacks.
