Adams Joins Venezia on a four-year deal after leaving Sevilla, with the Nigeria international targeting success in the club’s new project

Nigeria international forward Akor Adams has completed a move to Venezia FC on a four-year contract that will keep him at the Italian club until 30 June 2030.

The 26-year-old joins Venezia after a spell with Spanish side Sevilla, where he made a strong contribution in front of goal.

Adams scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 37 appearances for Sevilla, attracting attention with his physical presence, attacking movement and finishing ability.

The transfer sees Adams begin a new chapter in Italy as Venezia continue efforts to build a competitive squad for the coming seasons.

Explaining his decision to join the club, Adams said he was attracted by Venezia’s long-term ambitions and wanted to play a role in the team’s development.

“I chose to come here because I see the extraordinary project Venezia is building, and I want to contribute to writing a new chapter in its history,” Adams told the club’s official website.

Before moving to Sevilla, Adams developed his career in Norway, representing Sogndal IL and Lillestrøm SK, before earning a move to French side Montpellier.

The striker’s arrival adds further attacking options for Venezia, with the club hoping his experience in European football and international background can help strengthen their ambitions.

For Adams, the move represents another important step in a career that has taken him across multiple European leagues while continuing to establish himself as a regular option within Nigeria’s national team setup.
