The 2026 FIFA World Cup Award Winners have been confirmed after Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in the final at New York New Jersey Stadium to lift the trophy for the second time in the nation’s history.

Spain capped a remarkable tournament by becoming world champions for the first time since 2010.

The victory also completed one of the competition’s strongest defensive campaigns, with La Roja conceding just one goal throughout the tournament.

Midfielder Rodri was named the Golden Ball winner after producing a series of commanding performances that guided Spain to the title.

France captain Kylian Mbappé secured the Golden Boot after scoring 10 goals in eight matches, becoming the first player to finish as the tournament’s top scorer at consecutive FIFA World Cups.

The achievement also extended Mbappé’s record as the leading scorer in the history of the men’s FIFA World Cup with 22 goals.

Spain goalkeeper Unai Simón received the Golden Glove after helping his side keep opponents at bay throughout the competition.

Simón also set a new World Cup record by going 650 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal.

Another standout performer for the champions was defender Pau Cubarsí, who claimed the Best Young Player award after anchoring Spain’s defence with composed displays throughout the tournament.

The Netherlands received the FIFA Fair Play Award in recognition of their discipline and sportsmanship during the competition.

Argentina finished as runners-up after falling short in the final, while England secured third place with a thrilling 6-4 victory over France in the bronze medal match.

The awards reflected Spain’s dominance at the tournament, with three of the four major individual honours going to members of the world champions’ squad.
